New Film Claims Diddy Responsible For Tupac, Biggie Murders
In the documentary, titled Murder Rap, Greg Kading, who once headed a task force that investigated the unsolved killings of Tupac and Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace two decades ago, claims the cases have now been solved.
According to the Huffington Post, Kading alleges that Combs hired Crips gang member Duane Keith Davis to kill Tupac and his manager, Marion "Suge" Knight, for $1-million.
He alleges that on the night of September 7 1996, Davis' nephew, Orlando Anderson, pulled the trigger, killing Tupac.
In retaliation, Kading alleges, Knight hired Bloods gang member Wardell Fouse to kill Smalls for $13000.
He was fatally shot six months after Tupac died.
According to the Huffington Post, Combs could not be reached for comment and his manager did not respond to messages.
However, in 2011 Combs told LA Weekly that Kading's claims were "pure fiction".
Knight's lawyer also did not respond to messages and Davis could not be reached.
The LAPD did not offer comment on the latest claims.
Kading claims that the police chose not to pursue formal charges "because of Combs' celebrity and because the evidence pointed to two killers who were already deceased".
The documentary, based on Kading's 2011 book of the same name, is due to debut on Netflix.
